GERUS – A strong partner

The portfolio of GERUS Apparatebau GmbH & CO. KG comprises i.a. the development, construction, assembly and refining of custom tools and equipment, complete assemblies incl. related technical documentation as well as electrical and electronic measuring and testing instruments.

In addition to managing 18,000 different parts for large engines, especially the specially developed, powerful high-pressure hydraulic pumps (0-6000 bar), honing machines and nozzles test beds for fuel injectors are to be emphasized.

We process materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, steel and synthetic materials. For this purpose we have our extensive machinery available. Our machinery is designed for the production of individual components, small and large series. The latest CNC machines are in network connection with CAD-CAM workstations. This guarantees in the manufacturing process high precision as well as optimal, effective and efficient processes.

The accuracy and quality of our products is supervised in the company’s own measuring room, which can also be used for external orders.

Our customers include well-known German companies such as MAN, MTU and Daimler. But also medium-sized companies and shipping companies. We supply customers in other European countries, as well as customers worldwide.

Highest Quality and adherence to schedules are the lifeblood of Gerus Apparatebau GmbH & Co. KG. All products are realized with maximum precision on the most modern equipment and machinery.

The company GERUS Apparatebau was founded in 1970 by the experienced engineer Rudolf Schroll. From the one-man smithery became GERUS to a reputable company that today employs 28 people and operates on a production area of 2400 square meters. At first electrical ambulance vehicles and –aids were built. A little later, electrical units for mounting screws were added.

In 1975 the construction of the first high-pressure hydraulic pumps up to 1200 bar took place. Further developments of these pumps were added constantly. Highpressure-hydraulic-pumps were and are used especially in engineering and in the chemical industry. Test benches – in many variations and versions – for the automotive industry extended the product range very soon. Today, our product range includes a wide range of tools for engineering.

Due to a larger space requirement, the company moved in 1975 to Harthausen by Friedberg / Bayern. In 2006/2007 we planned and built a new company building in 86316 Friedberg, Engelschalkstraße 16. where we moved 2008 after its completition.
