MAN diesel engine

Nº 673 heat engine „Patent Diesel“ 1904

The engine from 1904 was designed by MAN for operation as a generator. Originally, diesel was primarily used as fuel. However, the engine is also suitable for petroleum to heavy fuel oil.

The engine has been completely restored and is on display as a museum piece. Instead of diesel fuel, it can now also be operated with compressed air for demonstration purposes.
